The AIA Inland California Chapter’s Executive Committee provides oversight and strategic planning to ensure the health and growth of the organization. Prospective Executive Committee Officers and Directors are selected by an annual Nominating Committee and are formally elected following a subsequent vote by the Chapter members-in-good-standing.

Administrative & Operational Policies
The Executive Committee may consist of up to twelve (12) total directors, each serving for three years unless otherwise noted, and includes the following positions:
The President shall serve a term of one year, and may serve additional consecutive one year terms.
The Vice-President/President-elect shall serve a term of one year and, in the event the President serves one or more additional one year terms, may serve additional one year terms corresponding to any such additional one year terms served by the President. Upon expiration of the final one year term served by the President, the Vice President/President-elect shall succeed to the office of President as provided in Paragraph 6.331.
The Secretary shall serve a term of two years, expiring on the last day of December in even-numbered years, and may serve not more than two consecutive terms.
The Treasurer shall serve a term of two years, expiring on the last day of December in odd-numbered years, and may serve additional consecutive two year terms. Each Director except the Associate Director and the Student Affiliate Director shall serve a term of three years provided that not less than one, nor more than two, such terms shall expire in any one year.
The Associate Director shall serve a term of one year and may serve additional one year terms.
The Student Affiliate Directors shall serve a single one year term.
