2023 Kids Draw Architecture

2023 AIA Inland California Kids Draw event for local elementary and middle school aged Riverside and San Bernardino County youth.

Program: The AIAIC Chapter sponsors an annual event for youth called Kids Draw to help young people understand what architecture is and how to draw like an architect. The program includes fun exposure to architectural marvels around the world through images and games, a short example session for drawing like an architect, followed by
drawing exercises for kids to practice drawing famous buildings. The program window is 3 hours long, and participants are welcome to come and go over the course of the afternoon. Architects from the Inland Empire chapter of AIA will be on hand to review student drawing and photography portfolios if requested as well.
